Also a codex user but for me brevity is not it's strong suit. I basically have to give it bigger tasks than I am used to to warrant the time it takes to complete. I feel whatever context the tooling adds can also be problematic

I use beads to create tasks and typically it can hammer out a beads task and then commit under the task id

I'm not impressed with cursor and it's decidedly not worth 1 mil in terms of its engineering. Perhaps it's user base and their loyalty makes up the vast majority of its evaluation. But to me it's ridiculous that a dev would use cursor or think that it's indispensable to them

I am not happy with the 'kids learn 2 code' space.. which is usually just a bunch of pseudo code move commands to make a character traverse a maze. I think the learning ceiling on this kind of setup is low.

but this seems like something much better. I have myself been doing more ai-powered coding / learning projects with my kids. a ton of potential in this space.

I feel that the web via browser is in danger. Vast majority of people can be convinced to switch to walled garden apps just like vast majority are fine with tablets, phones aka non open locked down computers. I am a Firefox/ublock user, and prefer browser to mobile apps, however I see the writing on the wall

Not my experience at all. Ever since Google neutered ABP with this move, it feels like everyone else just gave up the arms race. Which makes sense give how little market share FF now has.
